Winnie & Walter Premier Day 4

Wow... the week just flew by and it's already the last Premier day of Winnie & Walter's August/September Release. I hope you are enjoying the doses of inspirations and also the chance at the giveaways over at Winnie & Walter's Blog! :)

Today we are showcasing Wish Big with Evelin T Designs & its coordinating cutaways and Big Round Balloon Cutaways.

I am loving stamping background on cardstock recently (I think you may have noticed that too...). I randomly stamped the circles from In Bloom: Shirley's Blooms and watercolored the cupcake and strawberries from Wish Big with watercolors. The cutaways made cutting out the stamped images so easy and my kiddo loves cranking the die-cutting machine too ... haha.

I hope that you enjoy this big cupcake from the set that you can decorate and have fun with!

Remember to head on over to Winnie & Walter's blog to get more inspirations and be entered into the Giveaway. Have a great weekend! :)

Winnie & Walter Premier Day 3

Hallo there! Woo hoo... it's Day 3 of Winnie & Walter's August/September release today and I used the stamps to create this super fun and happy card :)

I used Ring in the Celebration to stamp the background and just kept layering the images till I achieve the background I desired. Then I stamped the little party images and lined them up on the white cardstock. I think the images speak for themselves and so I did not use any sentiments!

I hope you enjoyed this super fast and easy card and that this will inspire you to create more cards along the way.

Do head on over to Winnie & Walter's blog to see what the other Talents created and join in the giveaway! Good luck :)

Winnie& Walter Premier Day 2

Did you enjoy yesterday's stamp release? I know I have and I am excited to share more cards made with stamps from today's release :) Today's release is a mix of florals and sentiments and they are so versatile & fun to use.

The MISTI is always a great tool to use for stamping background or if you need to stamp images down repeatedly to get a crisp images. Always a handy tool to have :)

I am not a big floral girl but this release has a great mix of florals that inspired me to create this card! I love how the colors pop from the kraft background. I used In Bloom: Shirley's Blooms, Happy Birthday To You and Sentimental: Gift for today's projects.

I also created some tags using the stamps from today's release.

Do head on over to Winnie & Walter's blog for more inspirations and of course, a giveaway! See you back here tomorrow :)

Winnie & Walter Premier Day 1

Hallo there! How's your summer been like? I hope yours has been great! Ours was a mix of ups and downs because the adults were taking turns falling sick but we still did get to enjoy bits and pieces of summer together and every little bit counts :)

Today is Day 1 of Winnie & Walter's August Release and I am showcasing In a Word: Birthday Tile Cutaways, In a Word: Happy and In a Word: Happy Cutaways and a sneak peek of an image from a stamp set to be released at the end of the week.

I love the In a Word: Birthday Tile Cutaways. They are so versatile and I am thinking I can use the letters next time and rearrange them into different words (*ding* lightbulb moment!)

I stamped the floral and leave images from the In a Word: Happy set to create a background on this white cardstock and I love how it looks. Happy and cheery!

A very simple one layer card. No bulk, no hassle :)

I hope you have enjoyed the cards I made today and do head on over to Winnie & Walter's Blog for more inspirations and a chance to win a giveaway! I am also on Instagram where I share short snippets of my live, my love for journaling (& everything handmade) and how to live a cleaner life.

Winnie & Walter Premier Day 4

Hallo everyone and Happy Friday!
Today is Premier Day 4 of Winnie & Walter's June Release and today I am sharing a card I made with Happy Dance with Evelin T Designs (that's me! hehe)

To create this card, I cut a piece of watercolor paper into 4" by 5.25" and stamped the brush lettering sentiment and confetti onto the paper. Then I colored them with watercolor and used my prismacolors to add some highlights onto the confetti and stars.

I already pre-stamped and watercolored the little critters and ran them through the die cut machine the night before. I usually like to stamp and watercolor multiples and have a stack of these images on the ready should inspiration hits me or if I want to create multiple cards.

I used colored pencils to create shadows for them and foam tape to prop up the little kitty :) As a final touch, I added sequins on the card to 'make it more festive'.

I hope you enjoyed the card I made with Happy Dance and that it makes you feel like doing the happy dance just by looking at it too :)

Winnie & Walter Premier Day 2

Hi and welcome to Winnie & Walter Premier Day 2!
I hope that you had a great time getting inspired by all of the Talent's creations and thank you for joining us again :)

I am featuring From the Bottom of my Heart stamp set and its coordinating cutaways and the Sentimental: Birthday stamp set today.

For this card, I used the stamps From the Bottom of my Heart & its coordinating cutaways. I wanted to keep this card clean and simple so I used the watercolor technique that I showed in my video tutorial yesterday to stamp the heart image in the centre and I die cut the heart stamps and the word 'thanks' and 'heart'. I popped the words with some foam tape to create some dimension and adhered the hearts down with adhesives. I added some clear dew drops too because I really love them.

And for this second card, I really love all the birthday sentiments in the Sentimental:Birthday set. There are so many happy sentiments to choose from and they are all so fun! I kept this pretty simple too... I guess it's my theme for the day. Haha :) I cut strips of patterned paper and adhered them on the base cardstock and then I handcut the banners after I stamped the sentiments on them. Finally, I popped them up using foam tape for added dimension. This is a fun and simple way to make lots of birthday cards in one seating.

Before you go, do remember to hop over to Winnie & Walter's blog for more inspiration from the rest of the Talents and for the giveaway! I would also love to know what you think about my cards and do check out my Youtube channel and maybe follow me on Instagram too for sneaks, my life in my Travelers Notebook, love for essential oils and occasional giveaways!

Thanks for dropping by.
